Kayleigh & Sean Hunter Valley
What a great day. Sean & Kayleigh chose the beautiful Hunter Valley for their day, and this was my first time shooting in vineyards - something surprisingly, I hadn't had the chance to do. After a spate of rainy weddings, I was definitely ready for some sunshine!
Sean & Kayleigh's day was a little different to most - the ceremony was a small, intimate affair - only closest friends and family. The twist - the reception later was actually disguised as their engagement party. Genius.

Boshko & Eloise Wedding
I think I may have eluded to it before, but Eloise is a favourite human being of mine. We worked together at Channel 9 years ago, and I did my first ever fashiony/portraity shoot with her down in Pyrmont. She's legend status.
So, when she signed me on to shoot her big day, I knew it was gonna be epic.
We shot Eloise & Boshko's engagement shoot at Newmarket Stables in Randwick, to be the venue of the wedding. Back then it was in horse stable mode, still beautiful - but in a rustic, hay bale kinda way.
And sure enough on the day, the place was transformed. Think Dumbledore, just without the floating candles.

Ashley & Rheannon Mittagong Wedding
Tears. Every wedding has them.
Usually it's Dad when he sees his daughter for the first time in her wedding dress, other times it's the vows, and often it's the hilarious best man speeches at the reception (I'm talking crying from laughter too...) But with every wedding, at some stage, you can pretty much guarantee there'll be tears. And that's what I love about this gig - the beautiful raw outpouring of emotion.
