Rick & Erin Kangaroo Valley

Weddings

Rick & Erin’s epic day.
Epic really only tells half the story – this was a day that had everything.
On a beautiful cool winter’s day in the Kangaroo Valley, about 2 hours west of Sydney, Rick & Ez shared a day to remember.
So many highlights… Some of the funniest vows I’ve ever heard (including a mic drop!), their dog LJ as ring bearer, (he even barked on cue during the kiss!) and that’s without even mentioning the HILARIOUS speeches from his brothers and mates, topped off finally by a shoey from Ez’s shoe before the cake cutting. 10/10.
Rick & Ez are good friends of mine, and to be invited to be a part of their day is a special memory for me, and I really loved being part of a day I’ll never forget.
Shoutout to Oscar Colman for the 2nd shooting duties!

Luke & Charlotte… the Wedding.
The great thing about weddings is that no two are alike. I mean, the structure is always pretty standard, but it's the gold, unexpected moments that keep you coming back for more.  The moments that grab you when they happen - and you know they'll stick with you forever.  There's always at least one. As the photographer, I reckon I'm in a position to notice them a bit more - I'm always on the hunt for it.  And when they come, oh lordy... I do quite love that. Luke & Charlotte's wedding had quite a few.  If you know Luke like I do (he's my personal trainer & boot camp/gym instructor), he's the classic unassuming, quiet type - e ...

Jason & Adriana Pier One Sydney
I'd been excited for Jason & Adriana's big day for a good while leading up to their big day... at none other than the prestigious Pier One in Sydney.  If you're not familiar - it's basically right next to the motherflippin' SYDNEY HARBOUR BRIDGE...  With The Rocks, Circular Quay, Walsh Bay, and the Botanic Gardens all at our doorstep, we were absolutely spoilt for choice as to where to shoot what.  And sure enough, my favourite part of Sydney didn't disappoint. But as usual - the best part about the day wasn't the locations or the amazing venue.  It was the people.  It's always the people.  Jason & Adriana are properly loved up - and ...

Mason & Elyse Gunners Barracks
Mason & Elyse 's big day was back in June at the Gunners Barracks in Mosman. Or rather, their second big day was... They'd actually tied the knot back in Utah with their American friends - this was a celebration with the rest of their beautiful family in Sydney.  Usually before a wedding I like to get to know the couple beforehand, I don't love the idea of just rocking up on the day and clicking away.  Unfortunately, Mase & Elyse only arrived in Australia literally a couple of days leading up to the wedding, so there wasn't much choice. But we connected at their house the day before, shared a few laughs, a Creaming Soda (!) and I kn ...
