Or rather, their second big day was…
They’d actually tied the knot back in Utah with their American friends – this was a celebration with the rest of their beautiful family in Sydney.  Usually before a wedding I like to get to know the couple beforehand, I don’t love the idea of just rocking up on the day and clicking away.  Unfortunately, Mase & Elyse only arrived in Australia literally a couple of days leading up to the wedding, so there wasn’t much choice.
But we connected at their house the day before, shared a few laughs, a Creaming Soda (!) and I knew this wedding was gonna be great.
There were some beautiful moments too – like the way Elyse was ushered down the aisle with all four of the father figures in her life.  Nice touch. <3

Paul & Jess Belgenny Farm
When Jess & Paul got in touch with me to shoot their beautiful day in Camden, I knew this was gonna be something extra special. They've got a gorgeous little 2 year old boy, and well, I've got an almighty soft spot for little ones at weddings - especially when it's their parents standing at the altar! And of course the beautiful Belgenny Farm in Camden didn't disappoint either. My first time shooting there, it's awesome. I went along for a recce the day before and scoped out some fields next door for hopefully some awesome droning shots, but it wasn't to be. Locked gates. *sigh* All said and done though - it was still an amazing day had ...

Rick & Erin Kangaroo Valley
Rick & Erin's epic day. Epic really only tells half the story - this was a day that had everything. On a beautiful cool winter's day in the Kangaroo Valley, about 2 hours west of Sydney, Rick & Ez shared a day to remember. So many highlights... Some of the funniest vows I've ever heard (including a mic drop!), their dog LJ as ring bearer, (he even barked on cue during the kiss!) and that's without even mentioning the HILARIOUS speeches from his brothers and mates, topped off finally by a shoey from Ez's shoe before the cake cutting. 10/10. Rick & Ez are good friends of mine, and to be invited to be a part of their day is a spe ...

Ashley & Rheannon Mittagong Wedding
Tears. Every wedding has them. Usually it's Dad when he sees his daughter for the first time in her wedding dress, other times it's the vows, and often it's the hilarious best man speeches at the reception (I'm talking crying from laughter too...)  But with every wedding, at some stage, you can pretty much guarantee there'll be tears.  And that's what I love about this gig - the beautiful raw outpouring of emotion. When Rheannon, a brilliant wedding florist from Coogee got in touch with me, (rlfd.com.au if you're looking for an amazing, passionate florist!)  and said "Tim, I'm going all out, it's gonna be EPIC", I knew this could well be ...
