Ashley & Rheannon Mittagong Wedding
Tears. Every wedding has them. Usually it's Dad when he sees his daughter for the first time in her wedding dress, other times it's the vows, and often it's the hilarious best man speeches at the reception (I'm talking crying from laughter too...)  But with every wedding, at some stage, you can pretty much guarantee there'll be tears.  And that's what I love about this gig - the beautiful raw outpouring of emotion. When Rheannon, a brilliant wedding florist from Coogee got in touch with me, (rlfd.com.au if you're looking for an amazing, passionate florist!)  and said "Tim, I'm going all out, it's gonna be EPIC", I knew this could well be ...

Eloise.
A little while ago, I put a call out to try my hand at a shoot with a model. Got a message from a girl who was keen, but for one reason or another, had to cancel at the eleventh hour. My awesome friend Eloise from work offered to come out and assist me on the shoot. When the actual model cancelled, I asked Eloise if she'd ever thought of having a crack at modelling herself.  Her reply was a pretty bashful but polite "I'll have a think about it", to which she replied a few days later, "yeah, ok... What do I do?!?!" A day or so later... This happened. :) Big thanks to my friend Jdub for the assist on the day! x

Kayleigh & Sean Hunter Valley
What a great day.  Sean & Kayleigh chose the beautiful Hunter Valley for their day, and this was my first time shooting in vineyards - something surprisingly, I hadn't had the chance to do.  After a spate of rainy weddings, I was definitely ready for some sunshine! Sean & Kayleigh's day was a little different to most - the ceremony was a small, intimate affair - only closest friends and family.  The twist - the reception later was actually disguised as their engagement party.  Genius.
