Rick & Erin Kangaroo Valley

Weddings

Rick & Erin’s epic day.
Epic really only tells half the story – this was a day that had everything.
On a beautiful cool winter’s day in the Kangaroo Valley, about 2 hours west of Sydney, Rick & Ez shared a day to remember.
So many highlights… Some of the funniest vows I’ve ever heard (including a mic drop!), their dog LJ as ring bearer, (he even barked on cue during the kiss!) and that’s without even mentioning the HILARIOUS speeches from his brothers and mates, topped off finally by a shoey from Ez’s shoe before the cake cutting. 10/10.
Rick & Ez are good friends of mine, and to be invited to be a part of their day is a special memory for me, and I really loved being part of a day I’ll never forget.
Shoutout to Oscar Colman for the 2nd shooting duties!

Kayleigh & Sean Hunter Valley
What a great day.  Sean & Kayleigh chose the beautiful Hunter Valley for their day, and this was my first time shooting in vineyards - something surprisingly, I hadn't had the chance to do.  After a spate of rainy weddings, I was definitely ready for some sunshine! Sean & Kayleigh's day was a little different to most - the ceremony was a small, intimate affair - only closest friends and family.  The twist - the reception later was actually disguised as their engagement party.  Genius.

Eloise & Boshko Engagement Session
You'll love these two. I've known Eloise for ages through working at Channel 9, where we've become good friends.  We've shot together before too, so as you'll see, she's no slouch in front of the camera. (search the fashion category...) When I caught up with these guys, we decided to head out to The Stables in Randwick. SUCH a beautiful spot - they've booked it for their wedding reception in March. It's SO romantic. And these guys will bring the romance as you'll see below...!

Andrew & Alex Parsons – Palm Beach
Meet Andrew and Alex. Together since school. Looking back at the days images, it's fantastically obvious how much fun we all had. One thing about being a photographer - and therefore a total fly on the wall - for the day of the wedding, you get a fairly crazy view of the back story. Meet the family, get to know the stories, laugh along at the embarrassing speeches, even though in truth you don't really actually know the characters. The Parsons & Volkers are a fun bunch, that's for sure. There were SO many stories. If while you're looking through these you're thinking, Alex looks like she's had a great day... That's 'cause she has.  We al ...
